Changes at Wardyński & Partners

Mirella Lechna-Marchewka has become the firm’s managing partner. We also have a new Firm Council and a new finance director.

The new managing partner of Wardyński & Partners is Mirella Lechna-Marchewka, the partner in charge of the Infrastructure, Transport, Public Procurement & PPP practice. She also co-heads the Energy practice and manages the firm’s Wrocław office.

She joined Wardyński & Partners as a law student in 1997. She studied at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Charles University in Prague, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Nottingham. Apart from Polish and English, she also speaks Czech and Korean. She is a founding member of the Polish Public Procurement Law Association.

Stefan Jacyno, who served for 22 years as managing partner, will continue to contribute to the firm’s management and head the Private Client practice.

The members of the new Firm Council are now:

Katarzyna Opalko, a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics, MBA and Chartered Certified Accountant, assumed the duties of the firm’s finance director at the beginning of March.
