Magdalena Skwara has advised Polish and foreign clients for many years across all areas of employment law.

She handles mainly individual labour law, particularly issues of establishment and termination of employment. She advises on selection of the optimal type of contract as the basis for hiring (employment contract, managerial contract, B2B contract or other). She drafts and advises on employment-related documentation (including side agreements such as non-competition agreements and NDAs), as well as internal workplace rules and policies. She advises on termination of relationships with employees and associates, and drafts the necessary documentation. She drafts legal opinions on employment law and social insurance.

She has advised on numerous projects involving:

  • Employment restructuring (including group layoff procedures)
  • Employee transfers (including transfers of undertakings)
  • Employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions
  • Compensation of risk-takers in the financial sector
  • Compensation policies for members of management boards and supervisory boards of listed companies
  • Digitalization of HR processes and implementation of e-personnel files.
